Est\u00e1n en muchas manzanas de Madrid, junto a los nombres de las calles.<\/p>\n<p>Son del siglo XVIII, cuando se realiz\u00f3 la Planimetr\u00eda General de Madrid. Por aquel entonces la numeraci\u00f3n de las calles\u00a0consist\u00eda en que cada manzana ten\u00eda un n\u00famero y alrededor de la manzana se numeraban los portales, por lo que en una misma calle hab\u00eda n\u00fameros repetidos y hab\u00eda que recurrir a otras referencias.<\/p>\n<p>El actual sistema de numeraci\u00f3n no se implant\u00f3 hasta 1830.
